VVi3EREAS, pursuant to Chapter 47 of the Clearwater Code of Ordinances and the
Standard �uildiar�g �c�e, the �uiiding O�iicial determined that certain real property describ�d herein
and the btaifld'ang situa.tc� d�erefln were unsafe, unsanitary, unfit for human habitation, and
dang�ra�us and de�sadne�atal to the health, safeiy, and general welfare of the cornmunity, and did not
comply with tlbe r�uinments of said Code before expenses were incurred; and
�RFAS, Yhe �ity of �Clearvvater and the owner have caused ehe abatement of the unsafe
buiYding, and the City's costs of such woak should now be assessed as a lien on behali of the City
of Cl�,vater against ihe property; now, therefore,

and the City af Clearwater having now completed said work, ths City Commission does hereby
assess and c',�arge a lien on behalf of the City of Clearwater against the property for the necessary
costs incurt� as follows:

Saction 2• As soon as practicable, a Certifica.te of Indebtstiness against the pmperly for the
amount of assessment shall be preFared, which certificate shall constitute a lien prior to all other
liens except the lien for taxes. Said ceriificate, when issueci, shall be gayable to the City with
interest at a rate of ei�ht �rcent (8 %) per annum.
Secrion 3• g'he City L�erk is her�eby directa� to preg�re a Pdc�fice af Lien in the amou�t of
the assessment against said prrr�erty, and to r�ord the same in the Public Racards of Pinellas
County, Florida.
