WI�IEREA5, pursuant to ChapYer 47 of the Clearwater Code of Ordinances and the
Standard �uilding Code, the �uilding QY'ficial determined that certain real property described
herein ar�d ihe building situated thereon were unsafe, unsanitary, u�t for human liabitation, and
dangerous and dztrimental to tite health, safety, and general welfare of the comme�nity, and did
not properly comply with th$ requirements of said Code, and found that an emergency existed
aihicln, in his opini�n, involved danger to human life and health, and ordered the de�olition of
the buildimg; and '
Vi��1?AS, the City of Clearwater has caused the demolition of the building, and the
cost of such work should now be assessed as a lien on behalf of the City of �leapwater against
the property; now, therefore,

and lhe City of Clearwater having now campleted said work, the City Commission does hereby
assess and charge a lien on behalf of the City of Clearwater against the property for the
necessary costs incnrrec! as follows;

(See Attachment "A")

Section 2. As soon as gracticable, a Certificate of Indebtedness against the property for
the amount of assessment shall be grepared, which certif'icate shall constitute a lien prior to all
other liens except tae lien fos taxes. Said certificate, when issued, shall be payable to the City
with interest at a rate of eight percent (8 %) ger annum.
Section 3. The City Clerk ns hereby tiirected �o prepare a Notice of Lien in the amount
of the assessment against said progerty, and to record the same in the Public Itecords of Pinellas
Couzaiy, FZoricia.
Sectian 4. This resolution shall take effect immed'aafiely upon adoption.
