A RESOLUTION OF 7HE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, ASSESSING THE
OWNERS OF PROPERTY THE COSTS OF HAVING M01NED OR CLEARED
THE OWMER5' LOTS.
WHERFAS, it has been determined by the City Commission of the City of Clearwater that,
for the purpose of promoting the health, safety and general welfare of the citizens and residents of
the City, real property within the Gity should be cleared of weeds, rubbish, debris and other
noxious material; and
WHEREAS, nofice pursuant to Section 20.38, Code of Ordinances, was provided to the
owner of each of fha lots lis4ed in Exhibit A, and the notice required each property owner to cause
ihe violation to be remedied or to file a notice of appeal wiihin 1 Q days after the date the property
was posted; and
WHEREAS, the property owners have failed to take remedial action wi4hin the time
provided and have failed 4o fiile a notice of appeal within the time allowed, or appealed the notice
bf violation buti failed io take remedial action within ihe time provided by the Code Enforcernent
Board, and it became necessary gor the City to take remedial action; and
WHEREAS, the owner of each lot listed on Exhibit A has been provided with a notice and
opportunity within which to pay the costs and administrative charges set forth on Exhibit A, but no
payments have been �eceived; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY TNE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
GLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
5eciron 1. 'fhe City Commission finds the preamble hereof to be true and correct.
�,ctian 2. The City Commission hereby assesses a lien upon each parcel of real property
listed on Exhibit A for the actual costs of mowing or clearing, plus adminis#rative cosfs, as shown
on Exhibit A.
Sectian 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to prepare a notice of lien against each
property listed on Exhibit A and to record the same in the public recards of Pinellas Coun4y,
Florida.
