WHE1tEAS; pursuant to Chapter 47 of the Clearwater Code of Ordinances and the Standaad Bu�lding Code, the �uilding Official detesmined that certain real property described her�in �nd the bufllding situaied thereon were unsafe, unsa�at�ry, un�it for �au�iara habitation, and dangerous and detrimental to the health, safety, and general welfa.re csf the community, and did not praperly comply with the requ4rem�nts of said Code, and found that an emergency existed which, in his opuuon, involved danger to human life and health, and ordered the demolition of the building, and WHEREAS, the City of Clearavater has caused the aemolition of �he building, and the cost of sach wori� should now be assessed as a lien on bebalf of Ehe City of Clearwater against the property; now, therefore, BlE IT �SOLVED �Y TgIE CITY COr�IlVIISSYON OF THE CITI' OF CI.P,A�WP.TEI2, FI.OI�A: Section 1. 'Y'he Buildiaig Off'icial having ordered the demolition of the building situated on the followamg described property: ' BELLEVIEW COUItT, BLOCi� B, LOT 10 (P�cel Number 21/29/15/07362/002/0100). Owner of record: John K. 5herman 507 5.8. 13th Terrace Cape Coral, Piorida Ite�oluGion 96-1Z � � and the City of Clearwater having now completed said work, the City Commission does hereby assess and charge a lien on behalf of the City of Clearwater against the property for the necessary costs incurred as follows: TOTAL DEMOLSTION CO5TS $9,195.00 (5ee Attachment "A") Section 2. As soon as practicable, a Certificate of Indebtedness against the property for the amount of assessment shall be prepared, which certificate shall constitute a lien prior to all other liens except the lien for taxes. Said certif'icate, when issued, shall be payable to the City in not exceeciing ten (10) equal annual installments with interest at a rate not greater than eight percent (8 %) per annum. Section 3.
