A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, ASSESSING THE
OWNERS OF PROPERTY 7HE COSTS OF HAVING MOWED OR CLEARED
TNE OWNERS` LOTS.
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Ciiy Commission of the Ciry of Clearwater that,
for the purpose of promoting the heaith, safety and genera! welfare of the citizens and residents of
the City, real property within the City should be cleared of weeds, rubbish, debris and other
noxious maferial; and
WHEREAS, no4ice pursuant to Section 20.38, Code of Ordinances, was provided 4o the
owner of each of the lots listed in Exhibit A, and the notice required each property owner to cause
the violatian to be remedied or to file a notice of appeal within 10 days after the date the property
was posfied; and
WHEREAS, the property owners have failed to take remedial action within the time
provided and have failed to file a notice of appeal within the time allowed, or appealed the notice
of viotation but failed to take remedial action within the time provided by the Code Enforcement
Board, and it became necessary for the City to take remedial action; and
WNEREAS, the owner of each lot listed on Exhibit A has been provided with a notice and
opportunity within which to pay the costs and administrative charges set forth on Exhibit A, but no
payments hav� been recei�ed; nov►�, fiherefore,
B� Il' RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE GITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 'I. 'I"he City Commission finds the preamble hereof to be true and correct.
Sec#ion 2. The City Commission hereby assesses a lien upon each parcel of real property
listeci an Exhibit A f�r the actual costs of mowinc� or clearing, plus administrative costs, as shown
on Exhibii A.
���. The City Clerk is hereby directed to prepare a notice of lien against each
proper#y listed on Exhibit A and to record the same in the public records of Pinellas County,
Fl�rid�.
