P� RESOLUTIOiV OF THE CI1Y OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, ASSESSING THE
OWNERS OF PROPERTY TFIE COSTS OF !-IAVING MOWED OR CLEARED
THE OWNERS' LOTS.
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the City Commission of the City of Clearwater that,
for the purpo�e of promoting the health, safety and general welfare of the cifizens and r�sid�nts of
the City, real property within the City should be cleared of weeds, rubbish, iiebris and other
noxiou� material; a.nd '
WHEREAS, notice pursuant to Section 20.38, Code of Ordinances, was provided to the
owner of each of th� lots listed in Exhibit A, and the notice required each property owner to cause
the violation to be remedied or to file a notice of appeal within 10 days after the date the property
was posted; and
WHEREAS, the property owners have failed 4o take remedial ac4ion within the time
provided and have failed to file a notice of appeal rvithin the iime allowed, or appealed the notice
of violation but failed to take remedial action within the time provided by the Code Enforcement
Board, and it became necessary for the City to take remedial action; and
WHEREAS, the owner of each lot listed on Exhibit A has b�en provided with a notice and
opportunity w►ithin which to pay 4he cosFs and administrative eharges set forth on Exhibit A, but no
payments have been received; no��, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF TNE CITY OF
CLEARWATEFd, FLORIDR: •
Section 1. The City Commission finds th� preambfe h�r�of to be true and correct.
Section 2. The City Gommission hereby asse�ses a iien upon each parcel og real property
listed on Exhibit A for the actual cost� af mawing or clearing, plus administrative costs, as shown
on Exhibit A.
.Section 3. The City CIe�C is hereby direc�ed to prepare a notice of lien against each
property listed on Exhibit A and to r@c4rd the sam� in the public r�cords of Pinellas County,
Florida.
