A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
AMENDING CITY COMMISSION RULE 10(1)C TO ALLOW
INDIVIDUALS NOT PRE - REGISTERED WITH THE CITY CLERK TO
SPEAK UNDER CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES AND SETTING A TIME
LIMIT; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Rule 10(1)C of the Rules of Procedure of the Clearwater City
Commission is amended to read:
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
RULE 10
(rev. 2- 20 -86; 12 -1 -88; 12- 17 -92; 7 -1 -93; 12 -2 -93; 1 -3 -94)
(1) The order of business for a regular night meeting shall ordinarily
be:
A. Special recognitions and awards.
B. Minutes of previous meetings.
C. Citizens to be heard regarding items not on agenda. (Limited to 10
speakers, each speaker being allowed a maximum of 3 minutes.
Speakers will be required to register with the City Clerk prior to
the start of the meeting. The City Commission may allow individuals
not pre - registered with the Citv Clerk to speak if less than 10
