94-70• 1 RESOLUTION NO. 94 -70 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER ENDORSING THE REALIGNMENT AND REDESIGNATION OF U.S. HIGHWAY 19A IN CLEARWATER FROM FT. HARRISON AVENUE TO MISSOURI AVENUE BY WAY OF MYRTLE AVENUE AND DREW STREET. f i WHEREAS, the alignment and designation of US 19A in Clearwater has for some tune and does now exist along Ft. Harrison Avenue and Clearwater Largo Road; and WHEREAS, it has been determined that for socioeconomic and transportation reasons, Ft. Harrison Avenue should no longer be designated as U.S. 19A; and i WHEREAS, studies by engineering and planning organizations have identified other possible alignments of U.S. 19A; and WHEREAS, the Pinellas County Metropolitan Planning Organization has requested that the City of Clearwater express its preferred U.S. 19A alignment by Resolution; now, therefore, tBE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF } CLEARWATER, FLORIDA: Suggests, believes, and prefers that the alignment of U,S. 19A be altered and redesignated 4 along the following route: Along North Myrtle Avenue from the intersection of North Myrtle Avenue and North Ft. Harrison Avenue to the intersection of North Myrtle Avenue and Drew Street (S.R. 590), and along Drew Street (S.R. 590) from its intersection with North Myrtle Avenue to its Printed on Recycled Paper e/A4 la f _ R intersection with Missouri Avenue, and along Missouri Avenue from its intersection with Drew Street (S.R. 590) to West Bay Drive in Largo.
