A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, ADDING RULE 19 TO THE RULES OF
PROCEDURE OF THE CITY COMMISSION; REQUIRING THAT THE
MAYOR - COMMISSIONER PROVIDE NOTICE TO THE VICE -MAYOR
INDICATING WHEN SHE OR HE WILL BE ABSENT; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission finds that of its rules of procedure should
be amended to add Rule 19 as provided herein; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Rule 19 is added to the Rules of Procedure of the Clearwater
City Commission to read as follows:
RULE 19
Whenever the Mayor - Commissioner will be out of town on a trip
requiring an overnight stay for one or more nights, the Mayor -
Commissioner shall provide notice to the Vice - Mayor.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
