CITY RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER AUTHORIZING THE
RESPONSENTOE HET "NOTIFICATION OF TRANSMIT
GOVETRNMENTFACTION
ON PINELLAS PLANNING COUNCIL'S ALTERNATIVE RECOMMENDATION
FOR COUNTYWIDE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN AMENDMENT" AND TO
WITHDRAW THE CASES WHICH WERE RECOMMENDED FOR DENIAL BY
THE PINELLAS PLANNING COUNCIL, AS REQUIRED BY THE RULES
CONCERNING THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE COUNTYWIDE FUTURE
LAND USE PLAN.
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater has adoppted Resolution No. 92-
69 authorizing the transmittal to the Pinellas Planning Council of
certain changes to the Countywide Future Land Use Plan Map as they
relate to the City of Clearwater; and
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater has transmitted this adopted
Resolution to the Pinellas Planning Council for consideration as an
amendment to the Countywide Future Land Use Plan pursuant to state
law; and
WHEREAS, the Pinellas Planning Council has recommended denial
the City's request to amend the Countywide Future Land Use Plan
certain cases, and has proposed alternative Countywide Future
d Use Plan designations to the City of Clearwater for certain
es; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City of Clearwater, in reviewing the Pinellas
Planning Council action on the requested Countywide Future Land Use
Plan change, hereby withdraws the request for change on the cases
recommended for denial by the Pinellas Planning Council.
Section 2. The City of Clearwater, in reviewing the Pinellas
Planning Council action on the requested Countywide Future Land Use
Plan change, hereby finds that the Pinellas Planning Council's
alternative recommendations concerning the appropriate Land Use
Designation for certain cases are acceptable.
Section 3. The Cityy of Clearwater hereby authorizes t
