RESOLUTION NO. 93-37
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE AFFORDABLE HOUSING
ADVISORY COMMITTEE, DEFINING THE TERM "AFFORDABLE
HOUSING "; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EXPECTED AVERAGE
COST PER UNIT AND MAXIMUM COST PER UNIT ASSISTED
WITH STATE HOUSING INITIATIVES PARTNERSHIP (SHIP)
FUNDS.
WHEREAS, Section 420.9076(2)(f), Florida Statutes, and Ordinance 5410 -93 requires
the appointment of an Affordable Housing Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, Statute 420.9075(2)(d)3(i) requires that cost per unit be established.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida:
The following individuals are hereby appointed as members to the Affordable Housing
Advisory Committee:

EE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clearwater City Commission defines
"Affordable Housing" as: "Safe and sanitary housing which is available to a household
earning 120% or less of area median income which can be rented orpurchased in the market
without spending more than 30% of its income. "
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clearwater City Commission establishes the
following average and maximum cost per unit to be assisted with State Housing Initiative
Partnership (SHIP) program funds:
