92-781 RESOLUTION NO. 92 -78 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, REQUESTING THE PINELLAS PLANNING COUNCIL TO RECONSIDER CERTAIN OF ITS RULES CONCERNING THE COUNTYWIDE LAND USE PLAN; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Pinellas Planning Council has adopted a countywide future land use plan and is reviewing each element of the plan with the local government agencies in Pinellas County to assure coordination with local goals and policies and to establish consistency between the countywide future land use plan and local plans, as required by law; and WHEREAS, the Clearwater City commission finds that certain of the rules of the countywide plan have a deleterious impact on the City of Clearwater's zoning authority and regulatory flexibility; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA: Section 1. That the Pinellas Planning Council is requested to reconsider its rules as outlined in Exhibit A of this resolution. Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
