RESOLUTION N0. 92 -41
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
APPROVING THE CURRENT MEMBERSHIP APPORTIONMENT PLAN FOR
THE PINELLAS COUNTY METROPOLITAN PLANNING ORGANIZATION;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Pinellas County Metropolitan Planning Organization was created
by an Interlocal Agreement in 1977 to perform transportation planning functions
under federal laws; and
WHEREAS, Section 339.175, Florida Statutes, which defines metropolitan
planning organizations, requires the Governor to review the composition of the
metropolitan planning organization membership at least every five years; and
WHEREAS, the Governor has requested that each existing metropolitan
planning organization submit a membership apportionment plan by July 1, 1992; and
WHEREAS, the Pinellas County Metropolitan Planning Organization has
reviewed membership apportionment and has determined that the current composition
meets all apportionment requirements and is the most appropriate configuration;
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Clearwater approves the
current membership apportionment plan for the Pinellas Country Metropolitan
Planning Organization.
Sect_ ion 2• This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
