92-4 (2)No, 92 -4 e RESOD' ON ORDERING PAVING IMPROVEMENT ON TENNESSEE AV -.,UE FROM BAYVIEW AVENUE TO MEADOW LARK LANE ORDERING ASSESSMENT OF THE PROPERTIES BENEFITTED THEREBY AND AUTHORIZING DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS TO PREPARE PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS AND ESTIMATE OF COST WHEREAS, a petition has been submitted to this Board requesting improvements to Tennessee Avenue from Bayview Avenue to Meadow Lark Lane, such improvements to include an asphaltic concrete surface and drainage: and WHEREAS, not less than sixty percent (60 %) of the owners of the land area of the real property contiguous to, bounding upon, abutting or otherwise specially benefiting from the proposed improvements have joined in the aforesaid petition to this Board requesting assessment of a portion of the cost of such improvements; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners acknowledges this petition as an expression of the desires of the petitioners that said improvements be made and agrees that said improvements are in the best interest of the abutting property owners and Pinellas County. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Pinellas County, Florida, in a regular meeting duly assembled this — 14th ____ day of _ January 1992, that the Board hereby orders the said street improvements of Tennessee Avenue from Bayview Avenue to Meadow Lark Lane, acting under its initiative powers, with a portion of the cost to be assessed against all abutting property owners, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized and directed to prepare plans and specifications and an estimate of cost of constructing the improvements, plus six percent (6 %) for collection and accounting, together with a Tentative Assessment Roll.
