92-9RESOLUTION —NO-"-' A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, ASSESSING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY HAVING A POST OFFICE ADDRESS OF 136 NORTH PROSPECT ApEN E, 138 NORTH 9R3SPECT AVENUE, 901 DREW STREET, 9 DREW STREET, CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AS DESCRIBED MORE PARTICULARLY HEREIN, IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $8,830.00 FOR THE COSTS OF DEMOLITION INCURRED IN REMOVING DANGEROUS STRUCTURES, WITH THE CONSENT OF THE OWNERS. WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter he ildinf Official determined that rcertainsreal the Standard Building Code, the 9 property described herein and the buildings situated thereon were unsafe, unsanitary, unfit for human habitation, and dangerous and did not properly comply health, safety, and general welfare of the community, and found that an emergency existed which, with the requirements of said Code, in his opinion, involved imminentadanger to human life and health, and ordered the demolition of the WHEREAS, the owners of the property signed Waivers of Notice and Hearing, the requesting the City of Clearwater to demolish the structures located oe Y for property and for the City of Clearwater to file a lien against the proper the cost of demolition; and the WHEREAS, the Ciwork should now be assessed as ae lien ton behalf eof the ,Cgity and the cost of such now, therefore, of Clearwater against the property; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA: Section The Building Official having ordered the demolition of the buildings situated on the following described property: Metes and bounds 14ublic recordseof Pinellas County, Book 6879, Page 1.314, , public Florida (From NW Sect cr run E. 210 ft then S. 122 ft to B 180 ft then Wt 210n ft then N. 88e 1 then ft to POBt S less road). Owners of record: 615 Christopher SoutthMissou t riAvenue, Suite F Clearwater, Florida 34616 and the City of Clearwater aingen °oncbehalfeof the City of Clearwater against does hereby assess and charge Costs incurred as follows: the property for the necessary $3,655.00 (Prospect Ave.) Demolition Cost 5,175.00 (Drew St.) Demolition Cost -i 830.00 TOTAL Cl9-9 W Section 2. As soon as practicable, a Certificate of Indebtedness against the property for the amount of assessment shall be prepared, which certificate shall constitute a lien prior to all other liens except the lien for taxes. Said certificate, when issued, shall be payable to the City in not exceeding ten (10) equal annual installments with interest at a rate not greater than eight percent (M.) per annum. Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to prepare a Notice of Lien in the amount of the assessment against said property, and to record the same in the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida.
