ORDINANCE NO. 5991-96
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, RELATING TO THE LAND DEVELOPMENT
CODE; AMENDING SECTION 35.11, CODE OF
ORDINANCES, TO ESTABLISH A DEFINITION FOR
CONVENTION CENTERS; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Salon 1. Section 35.11, Code of Ordinances, is amended to read:
Sec. 35.11. Definitions.
The following words, terms, and phrases, when used in this development code,
shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly
indicates a different meaning:
Convention_ center_ means a facility designed to accommodate 500 o9

Sedon 2. The provisions of this ordinance are found and determined to be
consistent with the City of Clearwater Comprehensive Plan.
