In 1947 Jas. B. Phillips purchased 6 cemetery spaces In Block 8
of the Clearwater Cemetery - all of Lot 79 and the S ~ of Lot 66.
He sold the S ~ of Lot 79 to Helen and Edwin F. Lewis and sent a deed
to them for those spaces which they still have. In 1964,Mrs. Lewis's
mother, Eva M. Phillips was buried in the N ~ of the S ~ of Lot 79 and
In 1971 her father, James B. Phillips, was buried in the S~ of the S~
of Lot 79. Mrs. Lewis's grandmother, Lula H. Fletcher, was buried in
the S~ of the N~ of Lot 79 in 1947. Mrs. Lewis believes that her parents
were to have been buried in Lot 66 and were put in Lot 79 in error.
The deed for Lot 79 incorrectly reads Edward F. Lewis instead of Edwin
F. Lewis. This leaves 3 occupied spaces of the 6 originally purchased
by Jas. B. Phillips and 3 vacant spaces. Mrs. Lewis has no brother and
only one sister, Mrs. Doris Pendleton who lives in Dunedin. Mrs. Pendle-
ton's phone number is 733-3329. Mrs. Lewis says she took care of her
father for the last 7 years of his life before he died and Mrs. and Mr.
Lewis do plan on being buried in the Clearwater Cemetery. Her sister
has no objection to what they plan to do and can be called to confirm
this. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis would like a deed made out to them and have
it show them as the owners of the S~ of Lot 66 and the N~ of Lot 79.
Mrs. Lewis wishes to be buried next to her grandmother and have her
husband on the other side of her. She would like this done as soon as
possible as her husband is 73 years old and has had 5 heart attacks
already.
10/13/82 Verified with Mrs. Pendleton the above information which she had
already discussed with her sister, Helen Lewis. This was done per
a telephone call (by Dorothy Si1ianoff). We are issuing a new deed
to read Helen & Edwin Lewis for the S ~ of Lot 66 and the N~ of Lot 79.
Official Records of Pinellas County doesn't show any of the lots as
being recorded.

are occupied by James B. and Eva M. Phillips. Since these spaces
are already occupied, perhaps you meant to bring us the deed for
the eeuth of Lot 66, Block 9, which are not occupied but ..e
marked in our records as heing sav.4 for you. If you still would
like the deed corrected on the two occupied snaces, we will issue
a new deed upon receipt of your check in the amount of $5.45 for
recording fees.
If the other deed also has an incorrect name and you wish to
have a new deed, please advise us. In either case the deeds can
be reissued and recorded for $5.45 each.
