Dear Mr. Helms:
We have researched our records and find that Cordelia Helms and
John T. Helms are buried in Lot 7, Block 6 of Clearwater Cemetery
in the W 1/2 of. the N 1/2 of Lot 7. The S 1/2 of Lot 7 is owned by
a Mrs. Alice Gordon and the E 1/2 of the N 1/2 by a family by the
name of Bigger. We do not have any record of the financial
transaction which took place some 54 years ago, but do have
cemetery map that shows the names of owners.

Your parents apparently purchased four spaces and are
in the middle two spaces.
The deed to the property may have been recorded and I would
suggest you contact the Clerk of the Circuit Court's office at the
Court House (462-4876). You would be able to purchase a copy of the
deed if it is recorded and might be able to sell the remaining spaces
through one the funeral homes.
