Interment rights are as follows:
Space 3 = Max C. Thornton, Jr.
Space 12 = Franklin E. Thornton
A copy of this affidavit is in our files and we have updated our cemetery records to reflect
this information.

I, Grant B. Thornton, the undersigned, do hereby attest that I'm the descendant
of Jean B. Thornton, my mother, who is buried in Block 1, Lot 14, Space 1. James R. &
Susanne Blount, my great - grandparents, were the owners of Block 1, Lot 14, Spaces 1-
4 and Spaces 9 -12 in the Clearwater Municipal Cemetery, and are buried in Spaces 9
and 10.
Please take this affidavit as your authority to assign interment rights in Space 3,
Block 1, Lot 14 to Max C. Thornton, Jr., my brother, and in Space 12, Block 1, Lot 14 to
Franklin E. Thornton, my cousin, in the Clearwater Municipal Cemetery. This document
rescinds previous requests to grant interment rights to Daryl D. Thornton, my wife, in
Space 3 and Max C. Thornton, Jr., my brother, in space 12.
I agree to release, indemnify and hold the City of Clearwater harmless from
liability in the event of any claim arising from the use of the above described property as
stated above.
