AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA.
ANNEXING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED WEST OF MCMULLEN
BOOTH ROAD AND EAST OF LANDMARK DRIVE, CONSISTING OF LOT
14, KAPOK FOREST. WHOSE POST OFFICL ADDRESS IS 1336
KAPOK CIRCLE, INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF I Oil , AND
RFDEFItiING THE BC)UNDARY LINES OF THE CITY TO INCLUDE:
SAID ADDITION; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
1 ,t_REAS, th-e owner of the real property described herein and depicted on
the mas attached hereto as Exhibit A has petitioned the City of Clearwater to
annex the property, into the City pursuant to Section 171 044, Florida Statutes,
and the City has complied with all appl i ca°bl e requirements of Florida law in
connection with this ordinance; nor, therefore.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section i. the following described property is hereby annexed into the
City of Clearwater and the boundary, lines of the City are redefined accordingly:
Lot 14, kapok Forest, accorcli ng to the map or plat as recorded
Plat Book 47, Page 47, public records of Pinellas County, Florida. 9

Section 2. The provisions of this ordinance are found and determined to
be consistent with the City of Clearwater Comprehensive Plan, The City
Commission hereby accepts the dedication of all easements, parks, rights-of-way
and other dedications to the public which have :heretofore been made by plat, deed'
or user within the annexed property. The City Engineer, the City Clerk; and the
Central Permitting Director are di r�ected to include and show the property
:described herein upon the official maps and records of the City.
Section 3, -Phis ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption. ,
The City Clerk shall file certified copies of this ordinance, including the map '
attached hereto with t-he Clerk of the Circuit Court and with the COLwty
Administrator of Pinellas County, Florida, within 7 days after adoption, and
shall file a certified copy with the Florida Department of State within 30 days
after adoption.
