5869-95 ORDINANCE NO. 5869-95 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA., AMENDING SECTION 2 . 60 (3) , CODE OF ORDINANCES, RELATING TO TERM OF MEMBERS OF THE ENT VIRi_1-R4ENTAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE; PROVIDING AN EFFECTI'� E DATE. WiFEREAS, Section 2 . 160 (3) provides in pert that if a Board member resigns creatincq- a, vacancy, a new member is appointed: for the unexpired term; and VZ EREAAS, this provision is inconsistent with Commission Policy BD-4 which provides that a person appointed to fill, a vacancy created b,yr resignation shall be appointed for a fall term; NOW TFEREFOR;E,: BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA.: Section I . That Section 2 . 160 (3) Code of ordinances is hereby amended to read as follows Seem 2 .160 . Cam.eation MemberBhip. (1) Thee is hereby created the Environmental Advisory Board of the City of Clearwater. (2) The board shall consist of seven members who are res-i.dents of the city. Members shall be appointed by the city commission. (3) Appointments shall be for a term of four years .
