Amateur radio antennas operated by federally licensed amateur radio station o or are exempt from the provisions of this section. (a)` Joint Use of Existing Towers Required as an Altematiye to New Tower Con,stivdion. Joint use of existing telecommunications towers or other existing buildinqs or structures is required as are alternative to nee°v tower construction whenever feasible Therefore, anyone considering new tower constriction must first explore other ogtions. Prior to the issuance of any buil in rmit for a new tower, a determination must be made that no existing tower or mother structure is available as a reasonable alternative.
