WHEREAS, the division of the Public Works Department responsible for
administration of the Tree Protection ordinance is now a part of the Engineering
Department and
WHEREAS, the Central Permitting Department is responsible for the
processing of agendas for the Development Code Adjustment Board, now, therefore;
BE IT ORDAINED BY a'':HE CITY ColgMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA
Section 1. Section 52.02, Code of Ordinances, is amended• to read:
See.' 52.02.. Definitions.
Department means the en�ixaeeri� �e-wk department.
Section '2. Section 52.34 (l) , Code of ordinances, is amended to read:
Sec. 52.34, Same--Appeal from denial .
(1) Any applicant who is adversely affected by a decision of the director
in the application or interpretation of any of the provisions of this articles may
appeal the decision of the di:-ector to the development code adjustment board.
The appeal shall be ta:-ken by filing, within 'ten days from the announcement of the
adverse decision, a written notice thereof with the development code
Administrator e t w°.th a. copy thereof to be filed with the director. The
notice small recite the reasons why the appeal is being taken.
Sect-ion 3_ This ordinance shall taste effect immediately upon adoption.
