The revisions are a result of a field meeting on August 16, 1995 at which time it was discovered that the 30" tree in the southern parking area had been removed. In addition, due to their poor condition, it was decided to remove the 6" and 7" trees near the 36' tree at the edge of the retention area. The revised tree replacement calculations are then as follows: Total existing inches= 191" Required 750= 143" Inches to remain= 48 Deficit= 143 " - 4811= 95" Landscape trees 11 @ 1.511= 16.5" 3 1 Final deficit= 95 "- 16.5 " = 78.5" This deficit must be met by replanting additional inches on site or payment to the City Tree bank at a rate of $42.00 /inch, or any combination of the two. The following items were discussed: 1. Curbs- Because this is a temporary parking lot and all required interior trees and shrubs are located by the retention area, curbs will not be required for the interior landscape islands. 2. Landscape trees on Bay Avenue City Code requires five trees in this buffer. Four trees can be credited in the northwest portion of the site as the landscape plan shows one extra on Jeffords Street. Consequently only one additional tree must be fit in somewhere. 3. Tree removals- The 26" tree in the southwest corner will be removed, however the 36" tree by the retention area and the 30" tree in the southern parking area will be saved at this time. The tree replacement calculations are then as follows: Total existing inches= 191" Required 750= 143" Inches to remain= 91" Deficit= 143 " - 9111= 52" Landscape trees 11 @ 1.511= 16.5" Final deficit= 52 "- 16.5 " = 35.5" This deficit must be met by replanting additional inches on site or payment to the City Tree bank at a rate of $42.00 /inch, or any combination of the two.
