RELATING TO PURCHASING; AMENDING SECTION 2.564(21 , CODE'
CF ORDINANCES, TO INCREASE THE CITY MANAGER'S PURCHASING
AUTHORITY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, at the Special Election held on November 8, 1994, the citizens of
the City of Clearwater approved a City Charter amendment to increase the City
Manager's purchasing authority; nor, therefore,
DE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY CF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA-
Section ,I. Section 2.564(2) , Code of Ordinances, is amended to read:
Sec._ 2.1064. Exceptions to bid procedures.
Purchases in excess of $25oCOCnt?0o-4made pursuant to this
sect on shall be submitted to the city commission for approval .
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
