AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
ANNEXING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE
OF `JEST DRIVE EAST OF HIGHLAND AVENUE SOUTH OF SUNSET'
POINT ROAD, CONSISTING OF LOT 11 , BLOCK B, CLEARWATER
HIGHLANDS UNIT B, WHOSE POST OFFICE ADDRESS IS 1861 WEST
DRIVE, INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY, AND
REDEFINING THEBOUNDARY LINES OF THE CITY TO INCLUDE
SAID ADDITION, PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the owner of the real property described herein and depicted on
the map attached hereto as Exhibit A has petitioned the City of Clearwater to
annex the property into the City pursuant to Section 171.044, Florida Statutes, .
and the Cite has complied with all applicable requirements of Florida law in
connection with this ordinance, now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
r- ,• Section 1. The following-described property is hereby annexed into the
� T City of lClearwater and the boundary lines of the City are redefined accordlinoly:
Lot 11, Block 8, Clearwater Highlands Unit B according to the plat)
w `y thereof as recorded in Plat Book 30, Page 29, public records of':
Pinellas County,` Florida, together with the abutting right of way

Section 2. The provisions of thi s ordinance are found and determ-Ined to
be consistent with _,ie City of Clearwater Comprehensive Plan. The City
Commission hereby accepts the dedication of all easements, parrs, rights-of-way
and other dedications to the public which have heretofore been made by plat, deed
or user within the annexed property. The City Engineer, the City Clerk and the
Central Permitting Director are directed to include and show the property
described (herein upon the official naps and records of the City.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
The City Clerk shall file certified copies of this ordinance, including the map
attached hereto, with the Clerk of the Circuit Court and with the County
Administrator of Pinellas County, Florida, within 7 days after adoption, and
shall file a certified copy with the Florida Department of State within :30 days
after adopt ion.
