5705-94 ORDINANCE NO. 5705-94 AN ORDi;NANCE OF T kE OiT'r' OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, RELATINGi TO STREETS, 'SIDEWALKS, OTHER PUBLIC PLACES; AMENDING SECTIONS 28.82 AND 28.85, CODE OF ORDINANCES, RE' AT TO STANDARDS OF PROPERTY ADDRESS NlaMDERS AND ENFORCEMENT OF THE REQUIREMENTS PERTAINING TO PROPERTY ADDRESSES; , PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWAJER, FLORIDA: Section I. : Section 28. 2, Code of Ordinances, i s mended to rear�: Sec. 28.82> Numbers required, visibility, size. (') The, ownrs of all developed propertios within the city arerdquired to have tiI2 proper address numbers , as set for.:h i n the house numberlr at i as, displayed conspicuously upon the property. The numbers must be. arabic numerals. Painters numbers on I a curb and written scrieg are not acceptable. Such �numbcrs shall be not less than three inches, in height for residential uses and got less than six inches i;n height for !nonresidential used, and in such location as to be easily visible from the street upon which the property fronts {2) The owners of developed nonresidential properties shall alsoldispiay the proper, address numbers in such Vocation as to be easily visible from the rear of each property:, using Arabic numbers not less than three inches in height, provided, however, that this requirement shall be inapplicable to any 11uildng having no rear door and no rear windo9w and to any building having two ',.or more occupants who do no7t each have a proper address number assigned to the occupant's space in the building.
