D . 5640-94 CI �� 09 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, A€ EKING THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN ELEMENT`' OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF THE CITY, TO DESIGNATE THE LAND USE FOR CERTAIN REAL PROPERTIES LOCATED EAST AND WEST OF SOUTHI FORT HARRISON AVENUE AND NORTH AND SOUTH OF, PIN;ELLAS STREET, AND INCLUDED WITHIN THE PROPOSED MORTON j PLANT' HOSP I3AL MASTER PLAN AS INSTITUTIONAL; PROVIDING AN EF9=E:C:TIVE DATE. WHEREAS the amendment to the future element, of the land use plan e comprehensive pl a,n of the City as set forth in this ordinance is found to be . reasonable, proper and appropriate, and is consistent with the iCity' s Comprehensive Plan; now, therefore, BE It ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEAR�'Al'ER, FLORIDA: Section 't. The future land use plan element of the Comprehensive Plan of the City of ClejarN"Va :er is amended by designating the 'land use category for the hereinafter desicribed property as follows: Progeny Land Use Category See 'Ex.hibit A attached. Institutional (LUP 94-1S) Section 2- This ordinance shall take effect immediately., upon adolption, subject to the approval of the land use designation by the Pinellas County Board of County Comm'tissioners, and subject to a determination by the stated land planning 'agency o1r the Administrative: Commission of the State of Florida, as appropriate, of compliance with the applicable requirements of the Local Government Comprehensive Planning and Land Development Regulation Act, pursuant to § 103.3189, Florida Statutes. The Director of Central Permitting is authorized to transmit to the Pinellas County Planning Council an application to amend the County ride Plan` in order to achieve consistency with the Future Land UsI Plan E1eme;t of the City's Comprehensive Plan as amended by this ordinance.
