BE IT' ORDAINED 'BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLOIDA:'
Section' 1. Section 42.26, Code of Ordinances, is amended to read:''
Sec. 42.26. Fences and walls.
(3} Materials. All: fences and walls shall be constructed of materials
appropriate to their purpose and location. In no instance shall corrugated or.
sheet m::tal be; permitted, and no electric or other Potentially injurious,,
hazardous or 3nox ous materials or construction techniques shall 6e permitted..
Barbed 'wire fences may be permitted by the building director in accord �,i to
subsection (9,) bf this section. In residential zones wire fences shall be
constructed of chain link wire only. �I
section? 2. The orovisions` of this ordinance are found and determined to
be conic i st- -tee!- wwi th the City of Clearwater °Comprehensive Plan.
Section L 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately' upon adoption.
