LICENSE REQUIRE ENT FOR FAMILY CARE FACILITIES, AND TO
REVISE THE OCCUPATIONAL LICENSE 'REQUIREMENT FOR GROUP
CARE FACILITIES; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the occupational license ta,a schedule as
provided herein to eliminate inconsistencies between the'`schedule aid thole current
definitiom of :'group care facilities" in Section 35.11, Code of Ordinances; and
WHEREAS family care facilities are now deemed to be a noncommerc i a l
residential use .by definition; now, therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Seftio Subsection ('1) of Section 29.5$, Code of Ordinances, is amended
in part to reed:
Sec. 29.5 . Sched ale established.
Each applicant for an occupational license shall be required to procure a
separate license for each category which applies to his or her acltivities.
Except as mays otherwise be provided, the following license taxes shall be
assessed and collected each year:
