AMENDED EASEMENT TO THE CITY OF CLEARWATER FOR RIGHT-OF-WAY, COUNTY
MAINTENANCE DEPOT -APPROVED- AUTHORIZATION GRANTED FOR THE CHAIRMAN TO
SIGN AND THE CLERK TO ATTEST (DELETING "FOR RIGHT-OF-WAY PURPOSES"
FROM LEGAL DESCRIPTION)
Director of Public Works and Engineering H. Gordon Gray reported
that a request has been received from the City of Clearwater to execute
an easement for right-of-way in front of the County Highway Barn on U. S. 19
to replace a lot which was approved and executed on May 8, 1973. He added
that the only change is to delete the words "For right-of-way purposes"
in describing the land previously deeded to the State of Florida.
Commissioner Rainey moved, seconded by Commissioner Brumfield
and carried, that the following legally described easement be approved:
Forty (40') foot Ri~t-of-Way Easement:
A 40.0 foot parcel of land lying East of and adjacent to
the West boundary of the following described tract:
All of the Northwest 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 8,
Township 29 South, Range 16 East, less that part of said
forty (40) acres which has previously been deeded to the
State of Florida said land being situated in the County
of Pinellas, State of Florida, subject to existing leases,
easements or encroachments, recorded or unrecorded.
This easement being for right-of-way purposes.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the said party of the first part has

FOR AND IN CONSIDERATION of the sum of One Dollar ($1.00)
cash in hand paid to it, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledgedt
and the benefits to be derived therefromt PINELLAS COUNTY, Florida,
does hereby grant and convey to the CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, ,an
easement over, under and across the following described land, lying
and being situate in the County of Pinellas, State of Florida, to wit:

The CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, shall have the right
upon the above-described premises and to construct, install and
thereon any right of way and to inspect and alter such right of
time to time.
