SCOTT, his wife, hereinafter referred to as Seller, and the CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, a municipal corporation, hereinafter referred
to as Purchaser;
WITNESSETH:
That in consideration of the mutual promises and covenants herein
contained and other valuable considerations passing between the parties
hereto, the Seller agrees to sell and the Purchaser agrees to buy the
following described real property situate, lying and being in Pinellas
County, Florida, for right-of-way purposes, to wit:
A triangular parcel of land in the West 100 feet of
Lot 8, R. H. Padgett's Subdivision, according to the
map or plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 2, page
63 of the Public Records of Hillsborough County, florida,
of which Pinellas County was formerly a part, described
as follows: Start at the NW corner of said Lot 8; run
thence South 85 feet along East right-of-way of Madison
Avenue for P. O. B. ; continue South along said right-of-way
15 feet, said point being North right- of-way of Court
Street; run thence East along North right-of-way line of
Court Street 15 feet; thence run Northwest to P. O. B. ;
containing 112.5 square feet.
The total purchase price of said property shall be the sum of Three
Hundred Fifty Dollars ($350.00), payable in full upon closing, which shall
be on or before ninety (90) days from date hereof at the office of the City
Attorney, Clearwater City Hall, 112 S. Osceola Avenue, Clearwater, Florida.
IN CONSIDERATION WHEREOF, Seller agrees to convey said property
to said Purchaser by good and sufficient Warranty Deed, with fee simple,
marketable title, free and clear of all encumbrances of record.
Purchaser agrees to pay all closing costs except the taxes for 1981
shall be prorated as of date of delivery of possession.

Both parties agree that neither have used the services of a real
estate broker in this transaction and no brokerage fee is due anyone.
The obligations and benefits under this contract shall extend to the
