THIS INDENTURE, made this 3rd
day of
January
A.D. 1968, between FLORIDA POWER CORPORATION, a corporation existing under
the laws of the State of Florida, having its principal place of business
in the County of Pinellas and State of Florida, Party of the First Part,
and CITY OF CLEARWATER, a municipal corporation, organized and existing under
the laws of the State of Florida, with its principal office and place of busi-
ness in the County of Pinellas and State of Florida, Party of the Second
Part:
WITNESSETH, that the said Party of the First Part, for and in
consideration of the sum of ONE DOLLAR ($1.00) AND OTHER VALUABLE CONSID-
ERATION to it in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, has
granted, bargained, sold and transferred, and by these presents does grant,
bargain, sell and transfer unto the said Party of the Second Part all that
certain parcel of land lying and being in the County of Pinellas and State
of Florida, more particularly described as follows:

The East 50 feet of the East 1/2 of Southeast 1/4
of Northeast 1/4 of Section 12, Township 29 South,
Range 15 East less those portions previously dedicated
as Street Right of Way; ALSO the West 16.5 feet of
the Southwest 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4, Section 7,
Township 29 South, Range 16 East less the North 600
feet.

Grantee, by the acceptance of this deed, covenants and
agrees that in consideration for the conveyance herein,
Grantor, its successors and assigns shall be held
harmless from any special assessments levied against
its property adjacent to the lands deeded herein,
arising from the installation of water and/or sewer lines
and from the paving of any roadway within the above-de-
scribed lands.
