Per your request I am emailing you with my questions regarding makers at the cemetery. I will explain the situation and questions. William Worline Baechler is the gentleman I am working with. His mother Ruth Worline Baechler (1910-1970) is buried there,as well as his grandmother Nellie Black Worline (1898-1930). He also has a step father that he thinks might be buried there.... Carlos Hartmann Baechler. Please note that William does spell his name differently. William (Bill) wants to purchase a marker that will include 4 names; his, his wife, his mother and grandmother, NOT his stepfather. He and his wife will not be buried there, he intends to be cremated and scattered, but he does want to have a memorial marker in place with his name on it. I need to know the following: • Does he have the authority to do this? Is his name on a deed or a will that you know of? If so, I need to see documentation. • What size and type of markers do you allow? upright? flat bronze? is there a base required for the marker? • Do you install? ( I believe you answered that but I would like to have all my notes in writing). • Will you allow him to have his name on a marker if not buried there? If there is anything I have left out that you feel I need to know please fill me in! Thank you so much for your time in this matter! 'Man&you, (Dawn 911. Spaces 1 and 4 are vacant. Mr. William Baeckler could purchase a marker to have his mom's and grandmother's name on it. As I mentioned yesterday, the City of Clearwater's only responsibility is to mark the area for placement of a marker. A monument company of funeral home will be in charge of installing the marker. We just need to know when and who will be doing this so that we could notify our Parks and Rec. dept. to flag the area. Upright bronze, marble or granite markers or tablets are permitted in this block and lot. Since we don't have a copy of any deed in our files and Mr. Baeckler and his wife will not be buried at this cemetery in the future, the city will not allow him to have their names on the marker. I hope this answers all of your questions. Also, please let me know the correct spelling of their names so that we could make the changes in our system. As you can see by the attached document showing the burials in Block 4, Lot B we have different spellings on the names. Is it Baeckler or Baechler?? We also have Karlos with a K? Please advise and if you have any other questions, please give me a call. In the absence of a deed or an order from a probate court, you may not have your ashes placed in your mother's plot. Nor may you have a marker with your name and or your wife's name placed in your mother's plot. You may wish to seek advice from a private attorney concerning alternates you may have to obtain title. Also my mother Ruth Worline Baechler is in that location. I would like to have my ashes placed there and noted on a marker I will purchase. However I have no deed or Documentation, but I can provide geneology evidence; would that be sufficient to allow a marker w/ names of Nellie, Ruth and myself?Another question, Would it be permissible to add my wife's name to the marker, even if she does not wish her ashes to be placed there? Thank you very much!
