THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ;2~~/l-.&( day of
February, A. D. 1972, by and between MAGGIE M. BRIDGES, a widow,
hereinafter referred to as "Owner" and the CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
a municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as "Purchaser";
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater requires property hereinafter
described as right of way for construction and maintenance of an authorized
street and said Purchaser is required to furnish same for such purpose;
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises and other good
and valuable considerations, it is agreed as follows:
1. The Owner agrees to sell andronvey, by good and sufficient warranty
deed, free of liens and encumbrances, except as herein otherwise indicated,
unto the City of Clearwater, Florida, a municipal corporation, the following
described land in Pinellas County, Florida, to wit:
The East 10 feet of the North 41. 5 feet of the South 91. 5
feet of the East 100 feet of Lot 32, Unnumbered Block,
AND the East 10 feet of the South 50 feet of the East 100 feet
of said Lot 32, Unnumbered Block, Palm Park Subdivision,
according to the map or plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book
4, Page 86 of the Public Records of Hillsborough County,
Florida of which Pinellas County was formerly a part.
at and for the sum of $640.50.
2. Purchaser shall pay said sum in cash within thirty (30) days
from date hereof upon simultaneous delivery of such deed of conveyance.
3. This agreement shall be binding upon the heirs, pers onal
representatives, executors, successors and assigns of the parties hereto.

PROVIDED, ALWAYS, NEVERTHELESS, and it is expressly understood and
agreed that this instrurrlent subordinates said encurrlbrance insofar as same affects
the rights and privileges of the City of Clearwater, Florida in its use of the land
specifically above described, for street right of way purposes only, and that
nothing herein contained shall in any way affect, alter, impair, minimize or
diminish the effect of said encumbrance or the remedies at law or in equity for
recovering thereout, or against the parties cha:L~ged thereby, the full amount of all
sums secured by and/or due under the same. It is further understood and agreed
that in the event said above described premises are abandoned by the City of
Clearwater, Florida and cease to be used for stTeet right of way and maintenance
purposes that in such event the subordination of said encumbrance shall terminate
in and to such portion abandoned and no longer used as aforesaid, and the en-
cUITlbrance become of the same status with reference to such abandoned portion
as if the subordination had never been made.
