The County Attorney's office advises me that Section 197.592, Florida
Statutes, Subsection (3), specifies that if the County is not going to be
using this land, and if the land has not been preufol,sly sold or dedicated to
Some other use, then any such lands "which 81'e located ',.>ithin the boundaries
of an incorporated municipality of a county shall he conveyed to the governing
board of the municipality in which the land is loc;Hed." This section
requires, by law, that Pinellas County transfer to YOll lands that are not to
otherwise be used by the county or sold.
