DEED OF CONVEYANCE

TIllS INDENTURE, made the 22nd day of February, A. D. 1977,
between the CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, a municipal corporation,
party of the first part, and EAST COVE, INC., a Florida corporation, party
of the second part, whose mailing address is 301 Pierce Street, Clearwater,
Florida 33516,
WITNESSETH, That the party of the first part, for and in consideration
of the sum of One Dollar and other good and valuable consideration to it in hand
paid by said party of the second part, at or before the ensealing and delivery of
these presents, the receipt whereof is 12 reby acknowledged, has granted, bargained,
sold, conveyed and confirmed unto the said party of the second part, and to its
successors and assigns forever, all the following piece, parcel, lot or tract of
land, situate, lying and being in the County of Pinellas and State of Florida, and
described as follows, to wit:
Start at the Northeast corner of Section 16, Township 29 South,
Range 15 East and run West along its North boundary 1320 feet;
thence South 1526. 16 feet along the West boundary of the East
1/2 of the NE 1/4 of the aforesaid Section 16..29..15 to an intersection
with an Easterly projection of the centerline of Pierce Street; thence
run S 89045'00" W, 418.00 feet along the aforesaid centerline of
Pierce Street to a projection of the West line of Osceola Avenue
as extended across Pierce Street; thence South 20 feet along this
projection to a cross cut in the walk of the SW corner of the
intersection of Pierce Street and Osceola Avenue as it now exists;
thence rtin S 88018'4211 W, 653.03 feet to a cross cut in the top of
an old seawall; run thence S 00053'02" E, 281. 90 feet to a cross
cut in the top of an old seawall; run thence S 090 54J5 2" E, 226.94
feet for a P. O. B. ; thence run along a curve to the left having a
radius of 45 feet, chord bearing of S 77004'02" E, a chord length of
7.58 feet and an arc length of 7.59 feet; thence run N 87055'4511 E,
9. 32 feet; thence run along a curve to the left having a chord bearing
of S 35030'34" E, 28.30 feet, an arc length of 28.31 feet and a radius
of 310 feet to the North right..of..way line of Haven Street; thence run
S 89050127" W, 18.80 feet; thence run along a curve to the right having a
radius of 280.0 feet, a chord bearing of N 30023' 04" W and a chord
length of 28.35 feet, an arc of 28.36 feet to the P. O. B.
TOGETHER WITH all and singular the tenements, hereditaments and
appurtenances thereunto belonging or appertaining; and every right, title or
interest, legal or equitable, of the said party of the first part of, in and to
the same.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same unto the said party of the second part,
its successors and assigns, to its own proper use, benefit and behoof forever.

these presents to be executed in its name by its City Manager, City Clerk,

By virtue of a settlement agreement entered into between the City
of Clearwater and East Cove, Inc.,. filed with the Clerk of the Circuit
Court on or about December 22, 1976, the City was obliged to pay East Cove
the sum of $4,928,. as partial payment in the settlement of an eminent domaiii~
lawsuit. It is my understanding that this sum has not been paid to East
Cove, Inc., and it would be my request that you check your records to determine
whether in fact this payment has ever been made.
If this payment has not been made, I would appreciate your drawing
a check in the appropriate amount and forwarding it to this office.
