THIS DEED, made this 20th
day of February,
1962, by Pinellas County, Florida, Party of the First Part,
and the City of Clearwater, a municipal corporation of
the State of Florida, Party of the Second Part,
WITNESSETH, that the said Party of the First
Part, for and in consideration of the sum of Ten Dollars
I ($10.00) and other valuable consideration to it in hand
paid by the Party of the Second Part, receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged, has granted, bargained and sold to
the Party of the Second Part, its successors and assigns
forever, the following described land lying and being in
Pinellas County, Florida:
Commencing at a point 50 feet N of the
SE corner of Government Lot 2, Section
16, Township 29 South of Range 16 East;
run N 155 feet; thenGe Westerly parallel
with the Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard 720 feet;
thence S 155 feet to the North boundary
of said Boulevard; thence Easterly along
the said North boundary of said Boulevard
to point of beginning; together with all
riparian rights.
This conveyance is made subject to the terms of that cer-
tain lease dated October 25, 1955, between Pinellas County,
as Lessor, and the United State of America, as Lessee, and
supplemental agreement dated April 26, 1960, providing for
automatic renewals of said lease through June 30, 1965,
said lease covering the following described portion of
premises hereby conveyed:
From a Bronze Disc located approximately 30
feet south of Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard (paved)
Centerline; said point being the southeast
corner of Government Lot Two (2) Section
Sixteen (16) T 29 S, R 16 E, Pinellas County,
Florida; go thence N 840 31' W, 628.9 feet
to a stake located on the north right-of-way
line of said Boulevard; thence S 870 57' W,
100.0 feet along said right-of-way line to
stake; thence N 00 37' W, 140.9 feet to a

stake; thence N 89 23' E, 100.0 feet to
a stake; thence S 00 37' E, 138.3 feet to
a stake at the point of beginning. Said
tract containing 0.3 acres more or less.
All the above described land lying and
being located in parts of Government Lot
Two (2) Section Sixteen (16), T 29 S,
R 16 E, Pinellas County, Florida. All
bearings shown are true.
And is further subject to restrictions appearing in deed
from B. L. McMullen and Virginia M. McMullen, his wife
and Ed M. Carney and Matilda L. Carney, his wife, to
Pinellas County, dated January 19, 1925, and recorded
January 20, 1925, in Deed Book 246, Page 156, of the Public
Records of Pine lIas County, Florida.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the said Party of the First
Part has caused these presents to be executed in its name
by its Board of County Commissioners acting by the Chairman
of said Board, the day and year aforesaid.
