successor in title to Peter G. Peifer and Hazel E. Peifer, hereinafter called
the Owner. and the CITY OF CLEARWA TER, FLORIDA. a municipal
corporation, hereinafter called the City;
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater, Florida, by Warranty Deed,
dated March 22. 1973, from P~ter H. Peifer and Hazel E. Peifer, acquired
the property described below for park purposes; and
WHEREAS, su.ch Deed contained a reverter clause, part of which
provided that erection of an above-ground structure of a permanent nature,
excepting certain items, could cause a reverter; and
WHEREAS, Owner pr'esently holds the reversionary interest created
by such deed; and
WHEREAS, Owner is willing to release the City from the portion
of the reverter relating to above-ground structures of a permanent nature; and
WHEREAS, such land on which the reverter was placed is further
described as being situated in the County of Pinellas, State of Florida, to wit:

That part of Lots 1 and 2, Rainbow's End Subdivision,
lying West of Edgewater Drive to the Bulkhead Line as
established in Clearwater Bay (St. Joseph Sound), all
being in Section 3. Township 29 South, Range 15 East,
according to the map or plat thereof as recorded in Plat
Book 9, page 138 of the Public Records of Pinellas County,
Florida.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Owner does hereby quitclaim and release
the City from that portion of the reverter placed on the above-described
property as it relates to the placement of any above-ground structure of a
permanent nature on the property as such provision is set forth in that certain
Warranty Deed from Peter G. Peifer and Hazel E. Peifer, to the City of
Clearwater, Florida, dated March 22, 1973.
