Attached for official City records is a Highland Avenue Right-Of-
Way Acquisition Summary sheet, and all the original documents
relative to fee acquisition of 14 right-of-way parcels detailed
therein for the forthcoming road improvement project.
The package for each parcel contains:
Purchase Contract
closing Statement
Affidavit of No Liens
Special Warranty Deed(s) of conveyance
Mortgage Release instruments, as applicable
There are no title insurance policies. The cost of each policy
would have exceeded the cost of acquisition. Therefore, all of the
transactions were handled "in house".
A couple of the Purchase Contracts and closing statements are not
originals. I probably mailed them to the sellers instead of a
copy. All of the recorded documents, however, are original with the
exception of one mortgage release document. That one exception is
covered with a certified copy from the Clerk of the Court.
