On or before one year after date. the CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
a municipal corporation, promises to pay to the order of BARNETT BANK OF
CLEARWATER, Clearwater, Florida,
NINETY THOUSAND AND NO/lOO DOLLARS
($90.000.00) at the office of said Bank in Clearwater, Florida, for value
received, together with interest after date at the rate of three and four
tenths percent (3.41) per annum until paid.
The drawers and endorsers on this note severally waive presentment
for payment, protest and notice of protest and non-payment of this note, and
the time of payment may be extended from time to time until ultimate payment
without the consent or discharge of any maker or endorser or any other person
liable on this note directly or indirectly.
This note with accrued interest thereon and all other notes and
liabilities of the undersigned shall, at the option of the payee, become
immediately due and payable, without notice or demand, upon the occurrence
of either of the following events: <a) such a change in the condition of
affairs. financial or otherwise, of the undersigned as, in the opinion of
the payee hereof, will increase the risk, (b) default in payment of principal
or interest on. or in the performance of any other agreement or condition of,
this note.
Payee shall at all times have a lien on the deposit balances of
the maker or endorser hereof and may, at any time, without notice, apply
the same against payment of this note.
And should it become necessary to collect this note through an
attorney. either of us. whether maker, security or endorser on this note,
hereby agrees to pay all costs of such collection. including a reasonable
attorney's fee.
