Mary Cooper was buried in the City Cemetery on May 24, 2003. The funeral was handled by Robert Young's funeral
home. Lou Dacey contacted our department one day the last week of June (not sure of exact date) to tell us that her vault
had broken through the ground and a corner of it was above ground by several inches. Before we were able to contact Mr.
Young we were told that he was already on the scene. Mr. Young called me today to tell me that he had received a letter
from the attorney for Mary Cooper's family threatening a suit. In the letter they implied that Mr. Young was the owner of
the cemetery. Mr. Young will fax me a copy of the letter tomorrow and I will get a copy up to you. Mr. Young stated that
they would be reinterring Mrs. Cooper either Wednesday or Thursday of this week and he will let me know when tomorrow.
Just wanted to give you advanced notice of this situation.
