' MOTION: Lou Hilton moved to approve the minutes of the December 8, 1994 meeting as submitted. The motion was seconded by Bob Maran and passed unanimously. ITEM #1 Palrn Garden of Clearwater; Located at tl~e southwest corner of McMullen-Booth Road and Curlew Road. The applicant proposes to construct a 5,200 sq. ft. Therapy Addition to the existing Palm Garden facility. The Engineer is requesting comments from staff to facilitate this improvement. Pertinent comments from the Department representatives are incorporated into the motion listed below. The Commission received and referred a similar project at this location on June 16, 1994. The applicant has modified the initial site plan by relocating the proposed two story 120 bed nursing home facility and a sales center with associated required parking located away from the.100 year floodplain, placing the facility at the western portion of the existing Ba}>`~iew Gardens property. The applicant proposes'to expand the existing Bayview Gardens Continuing Care Retirement Community by constructing a 49,670 sq. ft., two story, 120 bed nursing facility with associated parking and stormwater management.
