THE CITY OF CLURNATER, FLORIDA, USES-

HAVING !!OWED OR CLURED THE OWNERS LOT.
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the City Commission
;t of the City of Clearwater, Florida, through the passage of
Ordinance No. 1894 that for the purpose of promoting the health,
safety and general welfare of the citizens and residents of the
City of Clearwater, lots, parcels or tracts of land within the
corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Pinellas County,
Florida, such as described below should be cleared of weeds,

WHEREAS, notice pursuant to Section 95.07 of the Code
of Ordinances was provided to the owner of each of the lots
}'x listed below that such lot was in violation of Chapter 95 - the
Lot Clearing Code; and
h WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 95.07 of the Code of
Ordinances, following the expiration of ten (10) days from the
lc date of each notice but not less than fifteen (15) days after
.., such notice a further hearing was held for the City Commission
n. of the City of Clearwater, Florida, with notice of such hearing
being provided to each property owner listed below to attend
and present evidence relating to why the lot should not be
cleared or mowed by the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission pursuant to Section 95.09

of the Code of Ordinances has authorized each of the lots listed

below to be cleared by the City and the actual costs of clearing
or mowing plus administrative costs, to be assessed against
each property owner.

1. That pursuant to Section 95.08 the properties lJ
listed on Exhibit A attached to this resolution and made a
part hereof after notice to each property owner were considered
at a public hearing held 19/82, 11/4/82, 11/18/82 and 12/9/82
with the question being should each lot be cleared or mowed
by the City and the costs including administrative costa
assessed against each property owner on the list; that follow-
ing the hearing the City Commissicn pursuant to Section 95.09
authorize the City to clear or mow each lot.
2. That pursuant to Section 95.13 of the Code of
Ordinances the owner of each lot listed on Exhibit A has been
provided with a notice and opportunity, thirty (30) days,
within which to pay the costs and administrative charges set
forth on Exhibit A but no payments have been received.
3. That each lot listed on Exhibit A, having been
cleared or mowed by the City, the City Commission pursuant to
Section 95.11 of the Code of Ordinances hereby assesses a
lien on behalf of the City of Clearwater against each parcel
shown on Exhibit A for the actual costs of mowing or clearing
shown on the Exhibit plus administrative costs.
4: That the City Clerk is hereby directed to pre-
pare a notice of lien against each property listed on Exhibit A
and to file the same in the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit
Court of Pinellas County, Florida.
5. That this resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption.
