#22 CORRECTIVE DEED FOR REAL PROPERTY IN CHAUTAUQUA SUBDIVISION ORIGINALLY
CONVEYED TO CITY OF CLEARWATER IN 1977 - APPROVED FOR EXECUTION
County Administrator Fred E. Marquis recommended execution
of a corrective deed for real property in Chautauque Subdivision. He
indicated in his memorandum of November 23, 1981, in part, that in
August, 1977, the County deeded the subject property to the City of
Clearwater in exchange for property on Sand Key which was subsequently
and
deeded to the Coast Guard;/that the original deed contained the closest
legal description possible at the time, but a completely accurate
description is now necessary in order to delineate and describe
adjoining county-owned land which the County has contracted to
exchange.
Commissioner Cazares moved, seconded by Commissioner Rainey
and carried, that the recommendation of the County Administrator be
approved.

PINELLAS COUNTY, a political subdivision of the State of Florida, party
of the first part, and the CITY OF CLEARWATER, Florida, a municipal
corporation, party of the second part, WITNESSETH that the said party of
the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of $10.00 to it in
hand paid by the party of the second part, receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged, has granted, bargained and sold to the said party of the
second part, its legal successors and assigns forever, the following
described lands lying and being in Pinellas County, Florida:

This is a corrective deed made to more exactly specify the41
west boundary of a tract of 1 and conveyed by the County to . '-,~
the City by County Deed dated August 16, 1977, and recorded
in Official Records Book 4587, page 1509, as Tract B, the
corrected description of which follows:
Tract B
That part of the southwest quarter of Section 32, Township 28
South, Range 16 East, bounded on the North by the eastward
extension of the South line of Fourth Avenue South as shown
on the Plat of Chautauqua Subdivision, Unit 4, Section A, as
recorded in Plat Book 9, page 146, of the Public Records of
Pinellas County, Florida; on the Northeast by the waters of
Lake Chautauqua; on the East by the northward extension of the
East line of Second Street East as shown on the aforementioned
Plat; on the South by the land of the Florida Power Corporation;
and on the West by the following described line:

on the southward extension of the eastward line of Lake
Shore Drive as shown on the aforementioned Plat and Point
of Beginning of the said west boundary line; thence run by
a non-tangent curve to the right having a radius of 240.00
feet, a chord of 219.09 feet bearing N 62048159" W, an arc
distance of 227.51 feet along the said extended line of
Lake Shore Drive to a point on the eastward extension of
of the South line of aforesaid Fourth Avenue'South and
Point of Ending of the said west boundary;

Title to the land aforesaid is hereby conveyed with the understanding
and intention of the parties hereto that the said land shall remain
forever in public ownership and use and other ownership or use shall,
without notice, cause said title automatically to revert to and become
vested in the party of the first part, its legal successors and assigns.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the said party of the first part has
caused these presents to be executed in its name by its Board of County
Commissioners acting by the Chainman or Vice-Chairman of said Board
