19~ by and between the CITY OF CLEAR WATER, FLORIDA, a
municipal corporation, Party of the First Part, and SIDNEY ODUMS and
MATTIE ODUMS, his wife, of the City of Clearwater, County of Pinellas,
and State of Florida, Parties of the Second Part;
W l"T N E SSE T H :
WHEREAS, Marcus C. Johnson and Willie Pearl Johnson were
the original owners of the following described property situated in Pinellas
County, Florida, to wit:
Lots 1 and 2, ALFRED ENNIS SUBDIVISION,
Plat Book 19, page 75 of the Public Records of
Pinellas County, Florida; and
WHEREAS, such property was subsequently conveyed to Mary L.
Clark; and
WHEREAS, such property is subject to a restrictien as set forth
in a deed dated January 16, 1974, and filed of record with the Clerk ef the
Circuit Court in and for Pinellas County, Florida, as Instrument No.
74007512; and
WHEREAS, parties of the second part are acquiring the above tract
from Mary L. Clark; and
WHEREAS, parties of the second part are acquiring the tract subject
to the remainder of time remaining within which to obtain a building permit
for such property, namely, Jariuary 3, 1980;
NOW, THEREFORE, it is agreed for and in consideration of the
sum of Ten ($10.00) Dollars and other good and valuable considerations to
it in hand paid by the said parties of the second part as follows:
1. Sidney Odums and Mattie Odurns, purchasers of the following
described property lying and being in the County of Pinellas and State of
Florida, to wit:

Lots 1 and 2, ALFRED ENNIS SUBDIVISION,
Plat Book 19, page 75 of the Public Records of
Pinellas County, Florida,
shall receive such property subject to the remainder of time that was
available to Mary L. Clark within which to obtain a building permit, namely
January 3, 1980.
2. If parties of the second part have not obtained a building permit
by January 3, 1980, then, the reverter clause contained in the deed to
Marcus C. Jehnson and Willie Pearl Johnson, which deed is recorded with
the Clerk of the Circuit Court as Instrument No. 74007512, shall immediately
take effect and title to the property shall revert to the City of Clearwater,
Florida.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the party of the first part has caused these
presents to be executed in its name by its City Manager, City Clerk,
countersigned by its Mayor-Commissioner, and its corporate seal to be
hereunto attached, the day and year first above writt~n.
