Interdep.rtment Correspondence Sheet
TO:
Robert Whitehead, City Clerk
FROM:
E. J. Robinson, Rehab. & Redevelopment Director
COPIES:
Norman Seher, Right of Way Agent
SUBJECT:
Lots I & 2, Alfred Ennis Subdivision (S. Madison Avenue)
DATE:
April 15, 1976
With regard to the above property, I have been informed that this property was sold
to Mr. & Mrs. Marcus Johnson with the requirements attached that they must build on
the property within a required period of time. It is my \Dlderstanding that these
requirements were not met and during the month of December the City Commissioners
requested the return of the Deed and the Johnson's would be ref\Dlded their money.
If this is true and the property is for sale again, it is possible that I may be
able to sell it.
I have received a request from Mr. & Mrs. Alvin Goodloe who have requested Housing
Assistance and are interested in building on these lots if they are still available.
Of course, as you are aware we will buy tbe lots and make this a package deal.
My question is, what is the price of the lots and can they be held \Dltil I can
assist the Goodloe's with getting a commitment from a local lending institution
for the mortgage money?
