Dear Mayor:
I am handing you herewith a deed to the
City of Clearwater to the eighteen-acre tract located
at the corner of Lakeview Avenue and Greenwood which
I have discussed from time to time with you and other
City of Clearwater officials.
This tract is deeded to the City of Clear-
water for park purposes.
As a pioneer citizen of Pinellas County,
I feel very strongly about the need for park areas in
our cities in this County. Realizing that the City of
Clearwater is generally lacking in such areas, I am
donating this eighteen-acre tract to supplement the
presently existing park facility which adjoins it on
the south, in the hope that it will alleviate the present
shortage of park areas in your City.
Assuring you of my continued desire to
cooperate in causes of such worthy nature, I am
