Gentlemen:
This date the transaction is being closed whereby the City of Clearwater
is purchasing from me the following property:
Lots 11 through 16, Block 2, Lake Belleview Addition, as
recorded in Plat Book 9, page 141 of the Public Records
of Pinellas County, Florida.
The Agreement for Purchase and Sale of Real Estate specifies that
the Seller will have the right to retain possession of the premises until
April 1, 1974, unless said premises are required by the Purchaser before
that date in which instance the Purchaser shall give sixty days' written
notice to Seller to vacate said property. The Agreement further provides
that if the Seller exercises the right to retain possession of said premises
for any period after the date of closing, then the Seller shall be responsible
for and pay the insurance, all utilities and maintenance of the premises and
any ad valorem real property taxes on said property during said period.
The Closing Statement does not show any proration of taxes and the
undersigned hereby agrees that she will pay the full real estate tax bill from
January 1, 1973 through the date the property is vacated and possession is
delivered to the City. The undersigned further agrees that if she retains
possession of the premises subsequent to January 1, 1974, she will in addition,
either at the time of vacation of the premises or prior thereto, pay to the City
of Clearwater her accrued portion of the real property taxes on said property
for 1974, from January 1 through the date of the vacation of the premises.

WITNESSETH~
That in consideration of the payrnents and covenants herein providerl,
and other good and valuable considerations, Seller agrees to sell and PU.Tchaser
agrees to buy the following described real estate situate in Pinella.s County,
Florida, to \vit:
Lots 11 through 16 J Block 2, Lake Belleview Addition, as
recorded in Plat Book 9, Page 141, of Public Records of
Pinellas County, Florida; als 0 known as 731 Lakeview Road.
The total purchase price for said property sball be the sum of
Forty-three Thousand and No! 100 Dolhrs ($.13 , 000. 00) net, payable 2.'1 tbe
tirnes and in the manner following:
$3,000.00 cash to be paid upon execution of this agreement, receipt
of which is hereby acknowledged; $30,500.00 by note of Purchaser payable
. January 2, 1974, with interest at 3-1/2% per annum, secured by purchase-
money first mortgage (Purchaser to pay docurneni:ary stamps on note, intan-
gib1e tax and recording of mortgage); and the balance of $9, 500. 00 upon closing,
which shall be on or before October 15, 1973.

to said Purchaser by good and sufficient Warranty Deed, with a fee simple,

deduction all account of said defects. If Purcbtser shall default under this
contract, the earnest money deposit shall be retained hy Seller in lieu of

Taxes for 1972 and prior years shan be paid by Seller, a.nd taxes for
1973 shall be prorated as of date of delivery 0: possess ion. Purchaser sha.ll
affix the required documentary tax stamps on the Deed and record same.
. The Purchaser hereby grants to Seller the right to retain possession of
said premises until April 1, 1974, unless said premises are required by the
Purchaser before that date in which instance the Purchaser shall give sixty
(60) days t written notice to Seller to vacate said property.
Upon receipt of
said notice, Seller agrees to vacate said premises within sLxty {60} days from
the date thereof. If the"Seller exercises the right to retain possession of said
p:celnises for any period after the date of closing, then the Seller shall be
responsible for and pay the insurance, all utilities and maintenance of the
premises and any ad valorem real property taxes on said property during
said period.
This Agreement shall be binding on the respective personal repre-
sentatives, heirs, executors, administrators, successors and'assigns of the
parties hereto.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have set their hands and
seals the day and year first above written.
