Re: Application by Sunny Grove, Inc., to have annexed
certain property within the city limits of the
City of Clearwater, Florida
Gentlemen:
I am submitting this letter, at the request of my client, Mr. Eugene
Corbett, President of Sunny Grove, Inc., a duly formed Florida cor-
poration, which letter will be annexed to and made a part of Affidavit
previously submitted and application that properties owned by Sunny
Grove, Inc., be annexed within the city limits of the City of
Clearwater.
As one of the conditions precedent to considering the said application,
my client has been advised by the Planning and Zoning Board of the
City of Clearwater that this application might be more favorably re-
ceived and acted upon -- as far as the City is concerned -- if certain
things were done, to-wit; namely, that parcels of land, within the
tract to be annexed, be dedicated for purposes of overall road ex-
tension or tie-in with Druid Road and Magnolia Drive.
To that end and as evidence of my client's willingness to cooperate
with the Zoning and Planning Board, and at some expense to him,
Professional Engineering Services, Inc., of Dunedin, Florida, have
done certain surveying work, as reflected by copies of suneys attached
hereto and made a part hereof, which describe two parcels of land
which Sunny Grove, Inc., would, if favorable action is taken by the
City Commission, permit dedication of the after described tracts
for road purposes.
These two parcels of land are described as follows:

It will be clearly understood, of course, that the expression of
willingness to so dedicate the above described land is conditioned
upon favorable action as far as the annexation proceedings are con-
cerned. My client, Mr. Corbett, realizes that there is an intrinsic
value involved in the property which he has indicated a willingness
to dedicate but, of course, does not wish to go on record that he
will automatically provide these parcels, for right of way purposes,
unless favorable action with ngard to his application is taken.
I have discussed this matter with Mr. Guy L. Kennedy and, as far
as I know, this meets the requirements of the City in this particular
and, I sincerely trust, will be ~vorably acted upon and favorably
viewed in support of the application and Affidavit as previously
filed herein.
If any questions arise concerned this matter, kindly direct them
to my attention.
